AN Launch Registration

On August 18 in Raleigh, NC, Movement leaders will gather to launch a non-partisan voter registration, get-out-the-vote, and voter protection effort that will continue across the country through November 8, Election Day. We are partnering with the NAACP, the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law and the PICO National Network to do that work together. Here’s what you can do:

  • August 18-21, 2016: Join us in North Carolina or tune in online. At the invitation of NAACP President Cornell Brooks and Rev. William Barber, Reform Movement leaders will gather in Raleigh, NC to launch Atem Nitzaviim: Standing Up for Voter Protection and Participation. Hear from moving speakers, participate in valuable trainings and register North Carolinians to vote.
  • August – November 2016: Get out the Vote! With your congregation or as an individual, you can help get out the vote in your community.
  • Election Day, November 8, 2016: Protect the Right to Vote! Recent elections have shown that too often, eligible voters are turned away at the polls. Reform Movement congregants with legal expertise are encouraged to join the effort to protect the right to vote.

For any and all information on Atem Nitzaviim, sign up below. We'll keep you updated about our launch in North Carolina, action opportunities around the country and ways you and your congregation can get involved.
