Call on congress to be stewards of the arctic refuge by keeping the refuge out of the budget process

A provision in Friday's budget resolution calls on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee to cut $1 billion of funding over the next 10 years. This provision is meant to pave the way for congress to open the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to drilling, which would devastate the indigenous Gwich'in people and cause irreparable environmental damage. As Congress goes through the budget process, insist that they keep drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge out of the budget. Please join an interfaith effort to save sign the petition below.
