Rabbis Organizing Rabbis (ROR) is a project of the Reform Movement’s social justice initiatives: the Justice and Peace Committee of the Central Conference of American Rabbis, the Religious Action Center, and Just Congregations. Through the Rabbis Organizing Rabbis Campaign, we come together as a unified Reform Movement with justice at our core. We seek to build a powerful network of Reform Jews praying with our feet through effective grassroots and legislative action on vital justice issues of our time.
Each Thursday of the Omer, beginning April 17, Rabbis Organizing Rabbis (ROR) shared drash written by a Reform rabbi offering insights on the Omer and the issue of immigration reform. Through reflecting on the story of Ruth and welcoming the stranger, we renewed our efforts to bring immigration reform to the forefront of American consciousness.
This Shavuot, we recommited ourselves to working with the modern day strangers who live among us. This Shavuot, and year round, we stand with Ruth.
Check back here to read each drash as they are added! And help us spread the word on social media by using our campaign icon as your profile picture.
